ITAM – Vendors

Who does not know the question for a contact info to a vendor or supplier from one of their piers or even you are asking for it?

The Vendors and Contacts module was built to help with this. You finally have a central place for all these contact information while the IT Asset Management Database / CMDB also uses this same information for e.g., Purchases and shows you quickly the internal Vendor Nr. that you might need in your ERP to process an order.

Various records in the CMDB are linked to the Vendors module and those that aren’t today might get linked in future versions and the information even made visible from this module.
